Tube Feeding Dietitian Gold Coast
Specialist Nutrition Care for Complex Conditions
At MNT Diagnostics, our tube specialist dietitian, Joshua Morgan APD, provides expert care for people of all ages and with various conditions that necessitate tube feeding, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate support tailored to each individual. Unique to the Gold Coast region, Joshua utilises state-of-the-art nutrition diagnostic technology that enables him to prescribe the exact nutritional needs of people who use a feeding tube with precision, moving beyond traditional estimations. This advanced technology ensures you receive exactly what your body requires and allows Joshua to monitor your nutritional intake with unparalleled accuracy.
He understands that tube feeding can be a significant adjustment, whether patients are transitioning from hospital care or have been managing tube feeding for some time. His goal is to support patients through every step, offering guidance that goes beyond just ‘what goes through the tube’—helping them achieve health goals and maintain a high quality of life. MNT Diagnostics accommodates clients with various funding types, including NDIS, private health, Medicare, NIISQ, and DVA.
There are many reasons someone might need to use a feeding tube, and we recognise that each person’s journey is unique. We understand that everyone’s needs vary, so we use Nutrition Diagnostics to carefully assess what your body specifically requires. From there, we work closely with you to find personalised solutions that best support your health and well-being, no matter where you are with your Enteral Nutrition.

How We Work With Patients
Joshua combines advanced technology with expert dietetic care to provide personalised, effective support for patients requiring tube feeding. His approach focuses on precision, using tools and methods that are unique to MNT Diagnostics, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care.
Scans and Specialist Diagnostic Support
We’re one of only a handful of clinics in Australia—and the only one on the Gold Coast—using a range of advanced nutrition diagnostic machinery. Instead of guessing what your body needs, we use cutting-edge technology to precisely measure your metabolic and nutritional requirements. We use scans and bloodwork to track changes in real time, ensuring you receive exactly what your body needs for optimal health.
NDIS Consultation and Support
Working closely with the national disability insurance scheme (NDIS), Joshua offers comprehensive consultations to assess your tube feeding requirements and assist you in securing appropriate dietitian funding. Our expert team prepares detailed advocacy reports for NDIS funding and ensures that your nutrition plan aligns with your NDIS goals.
Collaboration with Other Healthcare Professionals
Joshua works closely with your healthcare team, including doctors, speech pathologists, gastroenterologists and other specialists. He ensures that your treatment plan and nutrition complement your medical treatments, and provides regular updates and adjustments based on your progress.
We help patients navigate the NDIS, advocating for the necessary equipment and prescriptions to support tube feeding. Even for those not on the NDIS, we provide the same level of care to ensure everything is in place for your feeding needs.
Tube feeding can be clinically complex, but we simplify the process so you can focus on your health while we handle the details. Our metabolism scans allow us to precisely determine your nutritional needs, helping us tailor formulas or blended feeds to prevent underfeeding and malnutrition. Additionally, Bi-Spectroscopy and DEXA scans assess muscle mass, hydration, fat tissue, and bone density, enabling us to track changes over time and adjust feeding plans to optimise your nutritional status and overall well-being.
Beyond tube feeding, APD Joshua Morgan specialises in managing conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), POTS, MCAS, VCS, dysautonomia, and ME/CFS. His expertise extends to cases where these conditions overlap with tube feeding, ensuring tailored support for complex health needs. By integrating advanced diagnostic tools and personalised care, we help patients achieve better health outcomes and maintain their quality of life.
NDIS Support for Tube Feeding
If you are an NDIS participant who requires tube feeding, we are here to provide the nutrition support you need.
We are the only clinic in the region that uses advanced nutrition diagnostic machinery to precisely calculate your nutritional needs for tube feeding. This technology allows us to move beyond estimations and ensures that your treatment plan is as accurate and effective as possible, with the ability to track and monitor your intake over time.

Cerebral Palsy
Neuromuscular Disorders (e.g., muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy)
Traumatic Brain Injury
Stroke
Head and Neck Cancer
Motor Neurone Disease (ALS)
Severe Intellectual Disabilities
Cystic Fibrosis
Severe Gastrointestinal Disorders (e.g., gastroparesis, severe IBD)
